Thames Valley College Sagamu, Ogun State, Nigeria, welcomes students into Year 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11. Students seeking admission must reach the age of 10, 11, 12 13, and 14 respectively by September of the year of admission.

Thames Valley College seeks to make the most appropriate Year placement for each child based on his or her age, as well as academic, social and emotional development within policy guidelines.

Prospective students are required to sit for an Entrance Examination that is appropriate for the year which admission is being sought into. Results of the examination will form the baseline for placement.

Entrance Examination is set and administered by the Admission Department of the college. Unsuccessful students have the choice to reapply at a later date as fixed and agreed by the involving parties. Thames Valley College will not admit autistic students as there are no provisions for that yet.
All prospective students of Thames Valley College must present the academic report of the last term/session the student did in his or her previous school. The College retains the final decision on admission into any year.

Entrance Examination Results

All examination scripts are marked, cross checked and the result of the examination based on the cut-off mark as decided by the college will be used to determine whether the student will be placed in the class admission is being sought or not and to identify the students who will be considered for our tuition/boarding scholarship.

Successful candidates will be notified by phone calls, e-mail and text messages which will be followed by a letter of Admission from the Admission Officer on the directives of the Principal.

One important piece of information contained in the letter is that non-refundable Acceptance Fee should be paid on or before a stated date. This amount will be deducted from the First Term’s fee.

Following this, an admission pack that contains details about the college is given out to the parents of the successful student. The admission pack contains items such as medical form, list of personal effects, term calendar, college’s rules and regulations handbook among others.
