On Monday, 4th April, 2016 Thames Valley College came alive as it played host to the grand finale of SHE (Stemma hands on empowerment) initiative of the Christopher Kolade Foundation.
The atmosphere was magnetic as the participants(girls in public secondary schools in Lagos State) described their experiences during the course of the program from acquiring leadership/etiquette skills for creating mobile games and electronic skills facilitated by LEAP AFRICA and CENTER FOR TECHNOLOGY respectively.
The occasion was graced by the reverend Christopher Kolade, the founder of the foundation, Mrs Beatrice Kolade, the brain behind the SHE initiative program, Mrs Kofo Akinkugbe, Managing Director of Security ID, Mrs A. Anifowose, Tutor General/Permanent Secretary district 6 ,Ministry of Education, Lagos State, Ambassador Kate Ekanem, Girls Right Activist and African Union Ambassador for Girls.

It was indeed an 8-days life transforming experience for the 56 girls participant at Thames Valley College.
