SHE (Stemma hands on empowerment) an initiative of the Christopher Kolade Foundation partners with Thames valley College , as the school hosts a one week training session from Monday 28th March to Monday 4th of April for 56 girls from 6 different schools in Lagos including Omole Senior Grammar School, Babs Fafunwa Memorial Senior Grammar School Ojodu, Ilupeju Senior Grammar School, Central Senior High School Okota, Ilesha tedo Senior Grammar School, Estate Senior Grammar School.
SHE initiatives borders on increasing the girl child’s participation and proficiency in the fields of STEMMA – Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths, Music and Agriculture.
The girls were also had the opportunity to have the educational Manager of Microsoft Nigeria, Balley Judan in their midst . It was an interesting session as She narrated her experience in the technology world which is a male dominated field
